The further decision -making process

The offer must now be checked by the authorities in Osaka. If the consortium is accepted as a partner of the project, both Orix and the MGM Resort have to further concretize the offer by April 2023. For the same deadline, the plans must also have been sent to the central government of Japan. Only after a commitment to the central government could MGM and Orix make preparations for the start of construction. However, media in Japan do not expect this work to start before 2023. The plans develop not only in Osaka. Last week, the more specific plans for the casino resort in Wakayama became known.
