Novomatic draws a positive conclusion to participate in G2E

The Novomatic company from Austria took part in the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. After almost two years of Corona-related interruption, the gaming trade fair took place from October 4th to 7th in the gambling city par excellence. Novomatic now draws a conclusion to the fair.

G2E for Novomatic of great importance

For the first time after the beginning of Corona pandemic, the Global Gaming Expo-G2E for short-was able to take place again. Different companies were able to present their products within the fair, including Novomatic. According to the company – Ryszard Presch – this fair was particularly important because it opened the doors to the international market. Also that the fair was able to take place in presence is of great importance. Products and solutions could be presented on site. In a press release, Presch explained:

At the exhibition, Novomatic also focused on new products for the US sports betting market. Above all, the focus of the product presentation was on progressive slot machines. Products with long -term customer benefit are particularly interesting for Novomatic Americas. At least that’s how the CEO of Novomatic Americas-Rick Meitzler-explained it in the run-up to the Gaming specialist fair. According to him, the company attaches particular importance to such products. Therefore, the focus was on the diversification of progressive offers at Global Gaming Expo. The introduction of a new sports betting kiosk was another highlight of the G2E.

G2E largest gaming specialist fair after Corona break

With a total of 223 exhibitors, the event represents the largest physical Gaming-Factory fair since the beginning of Corona pandemic. More than 12,500 media representatives, buyers and international experts from the gaming industry were on site. The exhibitors were only able to present their products under the motto “It’s Game Time” – in American: it is season – in compliance with strict security measures. Each participant had to bear a mask and also prove that they received a complete vaccination against Covid-19.

In addition to the presentation of new products, the fair served as a place to exchange ideas and discussions about topics such as digital payment methods, inclusion and sports betting. The economic regeneration after Corona pandemic was also another important topic. In addition, Matt Maddox from Wynn Resorts expressed a positive statement. According to him, the company records 200 percent growth, which is extremely encouraging.

Next fair already being planned

According to the organizers, however, the next fair is already planned. This is due to take place from October 10th to 13th, 2023. The Venetian Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas is planned as a place of the event. Which companies will present their products there are not yet known. This year, in addition to Novomatic, exhibitors such as IGT, Pragmatic Play, Konami, Scientific Games and Betfred on site. They all had to stick to the hygiene concept. How this will look next year, however, whether it will be prescribed and whether the fair can take place at all will be shown. Coovid-19 vaccination will certainly play an important role in this decision.
